What should I look for in an infant hernia?

Patient: Description of the condition (time of onset, main symptoms, hospital visited, etc.): I would like to know what I should pay attention to before having surgery, when is the best time to operate between and what are the implications? Yu Jiakang, Department of Neonatology, Guangzhou Children’s Hospital: Generally, surgery is performed at the age of 6 months, or earlier if repeatedly embedded. If the swelling does not disappear on its own, one should be careful about the ingrowth, that is, the contents of the hernia (mostly the intestinal tube) are stuck, the child will feel pain, cry, refuse milk, stir up the legs, vomit and have bloody stools. If the swelling does not disappear on its own, the child should go to the hospital immediately.
