Implant restoration is the same as other surgeries, there are certain risks, as follows: 1, implant placement may lead to pain, infection, bleeding; 2, it may damage the adjacent teeth, the position is low when implanting teeth in the mandible, and the implantation may damage the inferior alveolar nerve canal, leading to sensory abnormalities and numbness due to inferior alveolar nerve damage; 3, the posterior maxillary posterior tooth area does maxillary sinus elevation when implanting teeth, which may result in perforation of the maxillary dynamic lining, poor initial stability of the implant, or wound dehiscence, edema, etc.; 4. After wearing in the crown, poor crown restoration may lead to occlusal trauma, inefficient mastication, or excessive loading, resulting in loosening of the implant. Also poor patient self-maintenance may lead to the occurrence of peri-implant disease and eventually lead to the failure of the implant restoration. Therefore, a thorough preoperative examination by the surgeon, knowledge of indications and contraindications, scientific design, correct intraoperative operation and good patient self-maintenance are indispensable factors to avoid implant risks.
