Which works better, sertraline or citalopram oxalate?

The generic name of citalopram oxalate is escitalopram oxalate, sertraline and escitalopram oxalate are both antidepressant drugs, but there are some differences in their composition, efficacy and indications, so it is not possible to compare which one works better. Sertraline is used to treat depression with anxiety, depression with or without a history of mania, and can effectively prevent recurrence of depression after satisfactory efficacy. Escitalopram oxalate is used for various types of depression. Taking Escitalopram Oxalate is prohibited in combination with Pimozide and Linezolid.
