Is it dangerous to keep your baby teeth in?

There are certain hazards of not losing milk teeth, mainly affecting the development of permanent teeth, causing misaligned eruption and so on.
Generally in children 6~12 years old, milk teeth gradually fall off, permanent teeth gradually erupt, milk teeth and permanent teeth occur alternately. In this process, some of the milk teeth have not yet been lost, while the permanent teeth have already erupted, but lack of position, the permanent teeth that is the wrong eruption. Most of the erupted permanent teeth are located on the lingual side of the milk teeth, resulting in irregularities in the permanent dentition.
Often, the baby tooth that caused the misaligned eruption needs to be extracted so that the permanent tooth can erupt in its normal position. However, care should be taken to ensure that newly erupted permanent teeth are not mistaken for supernumerary teeth and are not extracted.
