What causes pubic cysts in women?

Female pubic cysts may be vaginal cysts such as developmental abnormalities or trauma and other reasons can be caused; may also be vulvar cysts, vulvar cysts may be the formation of vulvar gland blockage such as vestibular gland, hair follicles sebaceous cysts, etc., and can not be ruled out is the effect of surgical trauma. There may also be developmental abnormalities of the local tissues. 1. Most of the vaginal cysts are benign, which can be caused by congenital abnormality and acquired vaginal injury. The former is due to residual growth of embryonic tissues during vaginal development and expansion of secretion retention and formation of cysts; in contrast, the latter, also known as implantation cysts, is due to localized vaginal injuries, which cause the vaginal epithelium to be involved in wounds and continue to grow, resulting in the formation of cysts. 2. Vulvar cysts are cystic lesions that occur in the labia majora and minora and the perineum, mostly due to obstruction of glandular ducts, surgical trauma, and developmental abnormalities. (1) There are many kinds of secretory glands in the vulva, including the vestibular glands, sebaceous glands of hair follicles, sweat glands and parietal sweat glands. When the ducts of the secretory glands are blocked by secretion due to various reasons, it is difficult for the cystic fluid to be discharged, and cysts will be formed. (2) Surgical trauma may cause the epidermis of the vulva to grow into the dermal tissue and form cysts, such as epidermoid cysts, which are most common after episiotomy and repair surgery. (3) Tissue developmental abnormalities may also lead to the development of cysts, such as labia minora cysts, dermoid cysts, and so on.
