How to determine whether true red is early or late

The full name of true red is true erythrocytosis, which is more than just early and late stages, and can be categorized into three stages based on the course of the disease, but also includes pre-PV (only mild erythrocytosis, etc.) and others.
True erythrocytosis, short for true red, is a clonal disease that mainly manifests as a myeloproliferative tumor with abnormal proliferation of red blood cells. Clinical features include splenomegaly, redness of the skin and mucous membranes, vascular and neurological symptoms, etc. Hematological features include increased blood viscosity, absolute increase in red blood cells and whole blood volume, which is also often accompanied by thrombocytosis and leukocytosis.
Depending on the course of the disease, it can be divided into pre-PV, overt PV, failure stage or post-PV myelofibrosis stage. pre-PV has only mild erythrocytosis, overt PV has significant increase in erythrocytes, and failure stage or post-PV myelofibrosis stage has hypersplenism, extramedullary hematopoiesis, myelofibrosis, ineffective hematopoiesis, and hematopoiesis.
It is recommended to go to regular hospitals in time when you feel unwell, and follow the doctor’s instructions to standardize the treatment.
