Nasal vestibular swelling is commonly associated with two diseases: first, nasal vestibular boils, which are commonly caused by repeatedly touching the nostrils with fingers or picking the nose, because there are more bacteria on the fingers, which can easily cause nasal vestibular infection and further form boils, with local manifestations of inflammation such as redness, swelling, heat and pain. The treatment requires local cleaning with saline to keep the area clean, and local application of mupirocin ointment or erythromycin ointment to reduce inflammation and swelling at the nasal vestibule boils. Secondly, if a boil or swelling on the nasal vestibule is considered, the treatment of this disease requires surgical removal of the cyst or swelling, and pathological examination of the swelling after removal for further diagnosis and treatment.
