How to do tonsil surgery in children

Children’s tonsil surgery is generally performed by anesthesia, excision and hemostasis and other steps. 1. Anesthesia: Before tonsil surgery, children need general anesthesia, first of all, general anesthesia intubation, need to be placed in the right position, usually the head is tilted back. After successful anesthesia, the pharyngeal cavity will be opened with a cotter, so that both tonsils are exposed, and tonsillectomy can be started on one side first. 2. Excision: Firstly, the tonsil gland on one side is excised, and the mouth is opened with the cotter, and an incision is made against the palate to start the peeling, and the tonsils are gradually separated along the leucomalacia of the tonsils, and then the tonsils are peeled off, and the tonsils on the opposite side are completely excised with the ionic knife, and the bleeding is stopped sufficiently at the same time. 3. Hemostasis: After the excision, check the residual tonsils and bleeding situation, use the tonsil emptying device, set and remove the tonsils, suture the wound and stop bleeding. Children who have symptoms of tonsil discomfort should seek medical treatment in time to avoid delay.
