How to prevent rectal cancer

  The incidence and mortality rate of colorectal cancer in China rank second in cancer, and 60% of colorectal cancer is mostly rectal cancer. Eighty percent of rectal cancer is misdiagnosed as hemorrhoids, dysentery, etc. Some patients are misdiagnosed and wrongly treated for more than half a year before they are discovered, which delays the disease and misses the best treatment period, so that they cannot be well treated. Experts remind that people over 40 years of age had better have regular colonoscopy, no disease is best, as a checkup of the body, if there is any potential disease, then promptly grasp the treatment.  Early rectal cancer has no obvious symptoms to be found by examination, so we should go to the hospital for examination regularly.  Colorectal cancer has a long development process and is completely preventable and treatable, but it is not easy to be detected because there are no obvious symptoms in the early stage. However, at a certain stage, when symptoms such as constipation, frequent stools and blood in stool appear, “80% of rectal cancers are misdiagnosed, either by themselves or by doctors. Some patients were misdiagnosed and then mistreated for more than six months before being discovered, delaying the disease.” For the most common low rectal cancer in China, the simplest and easiest examination method is rectal finger examination, “the diagnosis can be confirmed with a handful of hands”.
