What are the dangers of “snake entanglement”?

A legend circulating in the folklore: there is a skin disease called “snake Dan”, it is the incarnation of a snake, constantly pestering humans, slowly crawling in the human skin, winding side, where the skin rash, blistering, breaking, oozing, painful; once wrapped around the whole body, it can kill people. Does the legendary “snake dan” exist? What kind of disease is it? How does it harm the human body? The legendary “snake pox” does exist, and it is shingles, a common skin disease. The cause of human shingles is a pathogen called varicella-zoster virus, which exists only in the human body and affects humans. The virus is transmitted through direct contact and airborne in the rash and nasopharyngeal secretions of the upper respiratory tract, and is hidden in one or more neurons of the spinal or cranial sensory ganglia of the body like Pandora’s box for a long time. When the body’s immunity is lowered by some stimulus, Pandora’s Box is opened and the latent virus becomes active again, causing inflammation and necrosis of the ganglion, resulting in neuralgia and skin infection. Initially, herpes zoster can be characterized by mild fever, fatigue and weakness, painful swelling of local lymph nodes, hypersensitivity of skin sensation at the onset site, or paroxysmal neuralgia. The disease progresses in a regular pattern, producing localized skin flushing and the appearance of corn- to soy-sized papules and herpes pimples arranged in bands along the nerves, which soon turn into blisters, blisters or hemorrhages, gradually increasing and fusing into patches. Some of the herpes break down and ooze, and the herpes becomes infected secondary to pustules and gangrene. The pain also becomes more intense and can manifest itself as a constant burning, stabbing, cutting, and exciting electric shock around the clock. After 2-4 weeks, the disease ceases spontaneously in most patients and the patient is immune for life, with few recurrences. However, there is still a significant proportion of patients who experience pain for more than 2 months, and individually for several years, after contracting herpes zoster, which is related to the patient’s age and systemic immune status. For pain that occurs suddenly and for which the cause cannot be determined, in addition to continuing the necessary tests, it is important to be on the lookout for “snakebite”. “The snake is not scary, and we have a powerful weapon to defeat it. As a specialist in the treatment of “snake stalking”, the pain department not only flexibly applies various kinds of drugs to “remove pain and protect nerves”, but also epidural tube analgesic treatment, local intradermal ozone injection feedback treatment, selective nerve root injection treatment and selective dorsal ganglion Pulsed radiofrequency treatment is a very effective method.
