The so-called liver palm is mainly due to endocrine disorders caused by cirrhosis, estrogen inactivation, causing capillary dilation, resulting in redness of the palm, especially in the location of the large and small fissure, some can be seen in the thumb and middle finger redness, called liver palm. As long as cirrhosis of the liver still exists, or if portal hypertension still exists, most of the liver palms will not disappear, but will only improve slightly, so the liver palms will not disappear. In the case of hepatic palms, gastroscopy and liver ultrasound are needed to monitor portal hypertension and further assist in diagnosis and treatment.
