How long does it take to recover from a cerebral infarction to be able to work

How long the recovery from cerebral infarction can go to work depends on whether the cerebral infarction is serious, how the recovery is, and whether there are sequelae of cerebral infarction; some patients can not return to work, and if the patient’s condition is better, it will be at least after the condition is stabilized for 2~4 weeks.
Patients with severe cerebral infarction and poor recovery may be left with sequelae of hemiparesis, hemiplegia, hemianopsia, and hemianopsia, in which case not only can’t return to work, but also may need family members’ help to complete self-care of their lives; some other patients may have cognitive dysfunction and mental abnormalities, which will also affect their ability to work, and they may not be able to return to work.
If the patient’s cerebral infarction is not serious, the recovery is good and there is no after-effects, then he/she can return to work, but he/she should at least stabilize his/her condition for 2~4 weeks before resuming his/her work, but he/she should not participate in work with excessive labor intensity after resuming his/her work, and after going to work, he/she should continue to take medicines under the guidance of the physician, such as aspirin, simvastatin and other drugs for the second level of cerebral infarction prevention such as anti-platelet coagulation and lowering of blood lipid.
If you need to return to work after cerebral infarction, please consult your doctor and do so under his/her guidance.
