Can a stroke be cured?

Cerebral stroke, i.e. stroke, mainly includes ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, and whether it can be cured depends on a number of factors, such as the location of the lesion, the size of the lesion, the age of the patient, and whether he/she has any underlying diseases.
If the patient’s condition is mild, the lesion does not involve important functional areas, the lesion is small, and the patient has no underlying disease and has received active and effective treatment, the prognosis is generally good.
However, if the condition of the stroke patient is more serious, the lesion involves important parts such as the brainstem, the lesion is larger in scope or there is brain cell death or brain tissue damage, the patient usually cannot be cured and will usually be left with after-effects. Patients should be actively treated and undergo rehabilitation training to promote the recovery of neurological function.
Patients with stroke should actively cooperate with doctors for treatment and rehabilitation training.
