What’s wrong with the soreness and pain around the eyes?

Periorbital soreness may be caused by physiologic factors, or it may be related to blepharitis, glaucoma, hypertension and so on. 1. Physiological factors: under normal circumstances, periorbital soreness and pain will not occur, but when the patient uses his eyes excessively, the patient may have eye and orbital soreness, pain, dryness and other visual fatigue discomfort. 2. Pathologic factors (1) Blepharitis: Blepharitis, also known as granuloma, is an acute purulent inflammation of the eyelid glands caused by staphylococcus and other bacterial infections, and patients may experience discomfort such as eyelid congestion, swelling, and pain, which often involves the periorbital area. (2) Glaucoma: Glaucoma is a kind of ophthalmologic disease which is caused by excessive production of aqueous humor or narrowing or even closure of the angle of the atrium, resulting in obstruction of the return of aqueous humor, thus resulting in high intraocular pressure, and the patients often suffer from vision loss, orbital swelling and pain, and even severe headache and other symptoms. (3) Hypertension: patients with hypertension have acute elevation of blood pressure, headache can occur, headache to the fronto-temporal region, often involving the orbital area, can be soreness and pain-like changes, patients can also be accompanied by dizziness, panic, chest tightness and other discomforts.
