What is Iscap

Ixepro, also known as recombinant human type II tumor necrosis factor receptor antibody fusion protein for injection, is currently used clinically for the treatment of moderately and severely active rheumatoid arthritis, moderate and severe plaque psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, active ankylosing spondylitis, and Leukocyte’s syndrome. It should be noted that active tuberculosis and malignant tumors should be excluded prior to the application of the drug, and that if an infection develops during the application of the drug, it should be suspended. It is administered as a subcutaneous injection of 25 mg twice a week. Common adverse reactions to the drug are local reactions at the injection site, with mild to moderate erythema, pruritus, pain, and swelling, which usually do not occur after one month of administration. The drug is currently covered by medical insurance for use.
