Is a sore throat and fever a coronavirus?

A sore throat and fever is not necessarily a coronavirus infection.
During the new coronavirus-infected pneumonia outbreak, patients should be tested for nucleic acids promptly when they develop a fever and sore throat. If the nucleic acid test is positive, a diagnosis of coronavirus infection can be made, and if the nucleic acid test is negative and there is indeed a history of exposure to the virus, the body’s status can be continually monitored with multiple nucleic acid tests.
Sore throat and fever symptoms can occur with many illnesses, such as inflammation of the tonsils, respiratory infections, the common cold, or bronchitis.
It is recommended that patients with a sore throat and fever go to the hospital in a timely manner, under the guidance of the doctor to conduct relevant examinations, to clarify the cause of the disease and then actively treat it.
