Enhanced CT scanning of the lungs can detect pulmonary embolism. By performing CT and angiography and injecting a contrast medium into the blood vessels, it is possible to visualize the obvious manifestations of pulmonary embolism and to localize the severity of the disease, which is the preferred imaging method of choice for pulmonary tethering, and is an important test. The main manifestations are central filling defects in the vessels of the lungs, eccentric filling defects and ventral filling defects, as well as complete filling defects. Seeing these filling defects makes it clear that there is a blockage of blood vessels in the lungs and thrombosis, and the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism can be clearly made.
