Symptoms of teething fever

Generally speaking, children do not have fever when teething, but due to some children’s special physical condition, teething will also appear some fever, often physiological low fever, fever temperature is definitely not too high, not more than 38 ℃, after more rest, drink more water, the body temperature can be gradually decreased, will not be burned to a very high situation. However, if a more serious fever occurs, it is not always caused by teething, but may be caused by other reasons, so it is very necessary to go to the hospital for a specific examination. First of all, most fevers are caused by infections. To clarify the type of infection, blood tests and C-reactive protein are needed to see if the fever is caused by a bacterial infection or a viral infection. If there is an elevation of white blood cells in the blood count, accompanied by an elevation of C-reactive protein, this indicates a bacterial infection. If the C-reactive protein is elevated alone, it is not always certain that the fever is caused by a bacterial or viral infection, so it can be observed and retested as appropriate.
