Medication abortion is taken clinically for 3 days. Mifepristone is taken on the first 2 days and misoprostol on the 3rd day. The vast majority of patients will expel the gestational sac 2-6 hours after taking Misoprostol on the 3rd day. Individual women, about 1% in clinical practice, will experience vaginal expulsion of the gestational sac while taking Mifepristone, which is relatively rare, but does occur in clinical practice. Once this occurs, it is recommended that the expelled gestational sac be taken to the hospital as soon as possible to see if it is expelled intact, and to see if the amount of vaginal bleeding is greater than the amount of menstruation. If everything is normal, you can go home and rest, but if the vaginal bleeding is greater than 150ml, it is recommended to give the clinical emergency to clear the uterus.
