How to tell if the foreskin is too long

In adulthood, the head of the penis cannot be exposed or is less exposed in the natural state of the penis, which is called phimosis.
There are 3 types of phimosis:
1. Penile: When the foreskin is turned upward with force, the head of the glans is difficult to be exposed, and this type of phimosis is called “phimosis”.
2. Strict type: When the foreskin is turned up, it still covers part of the glans, and the coronal sulcus is difficult to be exposed, or although the head of the penis is exposed, the external opening is embedded in the coronal sulcus, resulting in incarceration of the foreskin.
3. Fully exposed type: the foreskin of the penis is too long, but it can be easily turned up to expose the coronal groove of the head of the penis.
There is no need to be nervous about circumcision in childhood. As children grow older, most of them are no different from normal people. However, there are still some children who are still circumcised after growth and development, and the head of the penis is not fully exposed, then they need to go to the hospital in time for treatment.
In daily life, the foreskin may not have any discomfort. However, if it is circumcised, it needs to be treated in time. The presence of circumcision in adult males is prone to induce infections, and it is recommended to go to a regular hospital for surgical treatment as soon as possible.
