Where adalimumab injections are usually given

Adalimumab Injection is usually injected in the lower abdomen or the front of the thigh, the main ingredient is adalimumab, which is suitable for patients with rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriasis and Crohn’s disease, which belongs to the biological agents. Adalimumab Injection should be injected at a different site for each injection and not in areas of skin that are painful, bruised, red, hard, scarred or stretch marks. In patients with psoriasis, do not inject in any raised, thickened, or reddened areas of the lesion. Adverse reactions are infections such as nasopharyngitis, upper respiratory tract infections and sinusitis, injection site reactions (erythema, itching, bleeding, pain or swelling), headache and skeletal muscle pain. It is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to the drug, active tuberculosis and moderate to severe heart failure.
