The process of removing acne, i.e. sebaceous cysts, varies depending on the location of the growth, size of the lesion and the presence of infection. It is recommended to go to the hospital to be treated by a medical professional. If the sebaceous cyst is small, it can be treated with oral antibiotics or surgery. Sebaceous cysts can be treated with oral antibiotics such as clindamycin when they are infected and inflamed, and there is a possibility of recurrence with this treatment. There are two ways of surgery, the first is to inject local anesthetics, the black spot on the sebaceous cyst is slightly propped up, the pus cell contents are suctioned out, and then the capsule is removed, this method of excision scar is smaller, but there is a risk that the capsule will not be removed cleanly, and therefore there is a greater possibility of recurrence. The second way is after local injection of anesthesia, first cut a shuttle shape on the surface of sebaceous cyst, cut the tissue around the sebaceous cyst, and then remove the whole cyst bag. This method has less chance of recurrence and there is a chance of scar formation. The presence of sebaceous cysts suggests prompt medical attention and treatment as prescribed by the doctor.
