Symptoms of alveolar rupture

Alveolar rupture is the formation of spontaneous pneumothorax, its main symptoms are chest pain on the affected side, dyspnea, irritating cough. Most of the patients suddenly feel a short time on one side of the needle-like or knife-like pain, followed by chest tightness, dyspnea, can be accompanied by irritating cough, a small number of patients with symptoms of chest pain is not obvious, with dyspnea as the main manifestation. Pneumothorax patients with obvious symptoms of dyspnea, need to healthy side lying position to reduce the symptoms of dyspnea, pneumothorax patients can be life-threatening in serious cases. The severity of symptoms at the onset of pneumothorax is related to the underlying condition of the lungs, the speed at which the pneumothorax occurs, and the amount of air accumulated in the pneumothorax. Normal people can have mild symptoms even if a large amount of air is accumulated. If the underlying condition of the lungs is very poor, even a small amount of pneumothorax can have obvious symptoms. Spontaneous pneumothorax is divided into two categories: primary pneumothorax and secondary pneumothorax. Spontaneous pneumothorax occurs in patients without underlying lung disease and is most common in long, thin adolescents. Secondary pneumothorax often occurs in patients with underlying lung diseases, such as tuberculosis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
