Migraines can be exercised, and migraineurs are advised to exercise between migraine attacks. During a migraine attack, patients may experience severe headache, accompanied by nausea, vomiting and blurred vision in severe cases. If the patient continues to exercise, the headache may be aggravated. During an acute headache attack, it is recommended that the patient rest in bed, avoid light, and take oral painkillers such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen if necessary. If the headache is severe, oral painkillers such as treprostin can also be taken. During the interval between migraine attacks, patients are advised to do appropriate physical exercise to enhance their physical fitness and prolong the interval between migraine attacks. Aerobic exercises, such as jogging or swimming, are also good for migraine attacks, as well as tennis and basketball activities if necessary.
