After what age do you stop getting neuroblastoma?

There is no such thing as not getting neuroblastoma after a few years of age. Neuroblastoma is a rare childhood malignancy that usually occurs in children under the age of 5. Although the incidence of neuroblastoma decreases after the age of 5, it does not mean that you will not get neuroblastoma after the age of 5. Neuroblastoma is a neuroendocrine tumor that can originate in any part of the neural crest of the sympathetic nervous system. The most common site is the adrenal glands, but they can also occur in the neck, chest, abdomen, and nerve tissue in the pelvis. The clinical presentation of neuroblastoma varies widely and is closely related to the site of the primary tumor and metastases, the extent of involvement, and the patient’s age at first diagnosis. In infants, most of the tumors are confined and have no clinical manifestations in the early stage. If there is any discomfort, timely consultation is recommended.
