The correct way to use reishi in water

The correct use of ganoderma lucidum in water is to take it with boiled water, but it is difficult to achieve the therapeutic effect of drinking it in water, and it is usually combined with other medicines to take it in decoction. Ganoderma lucidum is a traditional Chinese medicine that calms the spirit, replenishes qi, calms asthma and relieves cough. It is used for palpitations (rapid heartbeat, often accompanied by panic), insomnia, restlessness, shortness of breath, coughing and wheezing, and lack of appetite. It can be used in the form of a powdered pill to be swallowed or a decoction to be taken internally, or in water to be taken with boiling water, but the effective dose of water is limited, making it difficult to play a therapeutic role. For insomnia and nightmares, it can be combined with jujube nut to nourish qi and blood to calm the mind (through nourishing the blood to stabilize the mind and soothe the emotions). For treating deficiency labor, ginseng can be used to tonify Qi and nourish Blood. Reishi should be used with caution in patients with solid symptoms, such as those presenting with abdominal distension, pain and refusal to be pressed, constipation, and phlegm and saliva congestion (abnormal phlegm and excessive production of saliva). Adverse effects of Ganoderma lucidum are not clear. It should be used under the guidance of a doctor for evidence-based treatment.
