In the application of ephedra soup, depending on the severity of the condition, there is also Gui Zhi, Ephedra and Half of Each Soup, Ge Gen Soup, with Gui Zhi type of preparation, and Gui Zhi and Ge Gen Soup or Gui Zhi Xin Jia Soup. Depending on the varying degrees of the Sun meridian condition, these are the two main types of formulas. The former is chosen if the surface is solid, the latter if the surface is deficient, and care should be taken to stop the disease in the middle and not to overuse it.
