Male patients present with vague pain in the inguinal region of the right lower abdomen for many reasons, commonly including enlarged lymph nodes in the inguinal region, mainly due to inflammatory reactions, mostly secondary to soft tissue infections of the lower extremities or the presence of tinea pedis, and also prone to secondary lymphangitis of the lower extremities, also known as dermatitis. Patients may also experience pain in the lower extremities, which can be aggravated by activity and, in severe cases, fever, and is a common infectious disease. After diagnosis, anti-infective treatment should be actively chosen, and care should be taken to avoid strenuous activity or weight bearing to avoid aggravation of the pain symptoms. In addition, some patients are affected by inguinal hernia in the inguinal region, and the protruding contents of the hernia may also lead to local adhesions or compression, so the patient may also exhibit local pain and need to opt for surgery if necessary.
