With the rapid development of human society and economy, women in today’s society feel that there will be more and more pressure in all aspects, coming from society, work and family. In the face of strong social and mental pressure, it is very important to adjust their own state and maintain a healthy body. When your body has abnormalities, no amount of care and love can replace the mental and physical pain brought by the disease. Only you know the abnormalities and discomforts of your body best, so you should seek medical treatment in time, have regular health checkups, start from prevention, early detection and early treatment, the consequences of the same disease will be worlds apart. As a gynecological oncology doctor, I have been deeply touched by what I have seen in clinical practice for more than 20 years. Some patients go to see a doctor when they have discomfort, and they often look at them constantly, but when they wait for consultation in our hospital, they are already in advanced stage of the disease, for many reasons. Most of them are not cervical cancer, and some inflammatory lesions cover up the disease. Secondly, doctors are not experienced enough and have limited ability to recognize early lesions with naked eyes, and thirdly, they blindly judge the patient’s condition by naked eyes observation only without further cytopathological or imaging examination, thus the patient’s condition keeps progressing under the doctor’s eyes until advanced stage, which is a great pity. Therefore, to start from prevention, it is our specialist’s duty to let women understand some simple medical common sense. Cervical cancer is the most common malignant tumor in female reproductive tract, which seriously threatens women’s life and health. The age of its onset and death is 35-55 years old, which is the golden age for women to raise offspring, support family and serve the society, and most of them do not show symptoms in the early stage. If symptoms are shown, they are mostly increased vaginal leucorrhea and vaginal contact bleeding. If the lesion continues to develop, leucorrhea may increase significantly and become rice-soup-like or pus-like with fishy odor, and vaginal bleeding may also increase. The etiology of cervical cancer is clear: persistent infection with oncogenic human papillomavirus (HPV) is the main cause of cervical invasive carcinoma and its high-grade precancerous lesions (CIN2, 3, carcinoma in situ), HPV is transmitted by men who have sex with men, and the infection rate is high among women who have sex with men. The majority of them can be cleared by the body’s natural immunity within 2 years after infection, so HPV infections that do not cause lesions do not require treatment. ”The principle of treating HPV infection is to treat only the lesions caused by HPV infection, not the HPV infection itself, so women who are infected with the virus do not need to panic, but go to a specialist hospital and your doctor will give you the right guidance and treatment. Cervical lesion is a gradual process from inflammation to intraepithelial neoplasia until it develops to cervical invasive cancer, which usually takes 10-20 years. Effective cervical cancer prevention and treatment lies in regular screening and treatment for high-risk groups. Experience and epidemiological data of cervical cancer prevention and treatment in developed countries prove that if effective cervical screening can be performed every 12 months for women of appropriate age (25-65 years old) and standardized treatment is given to cervical diseases detected by screening, then most women will be able to effectively prevent and treat cervical cancer. Effective prevention blocks further progression of the disease, which is a very fortunate thing for a woman. The control of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia can achieve both the prevention of cervical cancer, and even in early stage cervical invasive cancer, the cure rate can be almost 100% if it can be treated timely. This shows the importance of prevention. In recent years, research on HPV has become a hot topic in gynecologic oncology and maternal and child health, and the successful introduction of HPV vaccine has made primary prevention of cervical cancer a reality. Although many diseases can be treated with advanced medicine, prevention is more important. We would like to remind women to have regular cervical screening and health checkups; secondly, they should pay attention to their unusual symptoms, such as lower abdominal pain, back pain, changes in the quantity and nature of vaginal discharge, leukorrhea, bleeding from intercourse, irregular vaginal bleeding, etc.; thirdly, they should go to regular hospitals for medical consultation when they have symptoms, as the rate of misdiagnosis is very low due to the refinement of diseases and specialization of doctors. Women are the “half of the sky” of human society. They play an increasingly important role in the political, economic and cultural spheres of modern society, creating the material wealth and spiritual civilization of mankind together with men. Women are also responsible for the continuation of human society, nurturing new life from generation to generation and pushing history forward. Women bear the burden of both career and family, the fierce competition of work and the heavy responsibility of family make women under great pressure, so women’s health problems are increasingly prominent. Caring for women’s health is not only a matter of women’s group, but also a matter of national prosperity and flourishing. The health concept of women and their health level are related to the overall health quality and level of the Chinese nation. Caring for women’s health starts with prevention.
