Is laparoscopy painful?

Laparoscopy is not painful. Laparoscopy is generally used to diagnose unclear abdominal diseases and perform exploratory surgery. Before doing this surgery, general anesthesia is required, and a certain amount of carbon dioxide gas is injected into the abdominal cavity, and then introduced into the laparoscope through a certain poke card for exploration. In this case, the patient is under general anesthesia, completely unaware of the pain, and is able to complete the examination and surgery. Therefore, for some unclear diagnosis, or more complex abdominal diseases, can be carried out through this form of surgery, or laparoscopic exploration, both to get the examination, but also able to find the exact lesion. The patient is not affected by any pain during the whole process of examination. Therefore, this technique is widely used in the clinic and benefits a large number of patients.
