Whether to take Deficiency Sweat Stop or Yu Ping Feng for menopausal sweating depends on the patient’s constitution. DXK is mainly used for sweating caused by deficiency of both qi and yin (deficiency of both qi and yin fluids), while Yupingfeng is mainly used for spontaneous sweating due to deficiency of the surface (frequent and natural sweating due to weakness of the muscular surface). Both Dyshidrosis Granules and Yuping Feng can be used clinically for the treatment of sweating disorders, but they need to be used with differentiation of symptoms. It is mainly composed of astragalus, jujube and other drugs, with the effect of benefiting qi and nourishing yin (tonifying qi and yin), fixing the surface and restraining sweating, and can be clinically used for the treatment of qi and yin insufficiency of spontaneous sweating (involuntary sweating during the daytime, aggravated by sweating with a slight movement), night sweating (abnormal sweating after falling asleep, and sweating stops after waking up) and other conditions. The adverse effects of this drug are not clear, but it is contraindicated in diabetic patients. Yu Ping Feng is mainly composed of Fang Feng, Astragalus and Atractylodes Macrocephalae, which has the efficacy of benefiting qi and consolidating the epidermis to stop sweating (stopping sweating by consolidating the muscular epidermis), and it can be clinically used for treating spontaneous sweating due to epidermal deficiencies, and cold and flu due to deficiency of body. Adverse effects and contraindications of this drug are not clear. Menopausal sweating should be identified by a professional doctor according to the patient’s condition to choose the appropriate medication, do not take medication on your own, so as not to cause serious consequences.
