3.Take X-rays (the specific number of X-rays is based on the above preliminary examination and the possible treatment plan), take dental molds, and take photos (digital photos).
4.Pay the initial design fee of 548 RMB (including the cost of taking the dental mold, taking digital photos and post-analysis design).
5.We will wait for the doctor to measure the impressions and x-rays, and analyze them together to design a personalized treatment plan. Due to the large number of patients, it is very likely that the analysis cannot be done on the same day, and the plan is usually determined at the next follow-up visit.
Second visit
1. The doctor will tell you and your family the results of the measurement and analysis, and make a practical treatment plan. The patient’s main concerns such as treatment time, treatment cost, whether to extract teeth, which ones to extract, whether to have double-stage orthodontic treatment, and whether to have surgery will all be told to you at this visit.
2.In cases where there are multiple treatment options, the doctor will tell you the pros and cons of each treatment option, and you will make your own choice.
3.After both parties agree, they will sign the informed consent form together.
4. Make an appointment with your doctor for your next visit to get your aligners (for patients who need extractions or pre-treatment, you should make a follow-up appointment after the extraction or after all teeth have been treated).
Third visit
1, the doctor glues the patient on the orthodontic appliance (commonly known as braces) and informs about the precautions.
2. Pay the orthodontic appliance fee
Thereafter follow-up visit
1, about 4 weeks for a follow-up visit. Can not be too hasty, to give the teeth sufficient time to move, so as not to cause root damage; but also can not be a long time without a follow-up visit, so as not to produce adverse tooth movement due to damage to the aligner is not treated in a timely manner, more than six months without a follow-up visit, the patient is considered to automatically abandon treatment, the treatment process is terminated.
2, during the follow-up interval, if the patient finds that the aligner parts fall off or damaged, you should contact the doctor in a timely manner and schedule a follow-up appointment as soon as possible, long-term abandonment will affect the progress of treatment and may cause dental damage.
Wearing orthodontic appliances after the precautions.
1, orthodontic period can not use the teeth to bite hard objects, such as nuts, ribs, crabs, etc.; eat fruit to avoid using the front teeth to bite directly, it is best to cut into small pieces to chew with the back teeth to avoid brackets fall off.
2, carry toothpaste, toothbrush (brush head should be small, brush bristles to medium hardness), must brush your teeth after eating, rinse your mouth after drinking, master the correct method of brushing, to keep teeth and gums healthy. Poor oral hygiene will cause tooth surface demineralization or even caries, and the tooth surface will not look good after removing the aligner.
3, each time the teeth will be swollen and painful after the follow-up, biting weakness for a few days, is a normal phenomenon, during this period should eat softer food.
4.If the brackets fall off or the wires are deformed during the orthodontic treatment, you should contact the doctor in charge in time and make an appointment for a timely follow-up.
