Acne is generally considered as acne. Acne can be treated with general treatment, medication and physical therapy.
1. General treatment: It is recommended to wash your face 1~2 times a day, do not squeeze, rub or scratch the skin. Avoid high sugar diet, eat less cake, candy and so on. Adopt good living habits, don’t stay up late and don’t touch your face with dirty hands.
2. Medication: If acne is not accompanied by obvious inflammation or infection, topical medications can be used alone, such as retinoids (retinoic acid cream, adapalene gel), topical antibacterial medications such as fusidic acid cream and other medications. For moderate to severe patients with obvious infections, oral antibacterial drugs such as doxycycline are recommended.
3. Physiotherapy: For patients who cannot tolerate medication, physiotherapy can be considered. Commonly used methods include photodynamic therapy, chemical peeling therapy, laser therapy, etc.
