Effects and Indications of Radix et Rhizoma Dioscoreae



Sheng Di Huang has the efficacy of clearing heat and cooling blood (relieving blood heat by clearing heat), nourishing yin and promoting the production of body fluid, etc. It is mainly used in the treatment of warm poisonous spots (spots and plaques appearing on the skin due to warm and hot poisonous evils invading the human body) caused by heat entering into the camp and blood (the heat evils invade the human body to a deep extent and the symptoms are more serious), vomiting and epistaxis and other conditions.

Sheng Di Huang (生地黄), which is cold in nature, sweet and bitter in taste, enters the heart, liver and kidney meridians.
