Male height development time

The time period of height development in boys generally starts at the age of 13-14 and stops at the age of 22, but the specific age of development is related to various aspects such as hormones, genetic reasons and nutrition in the body. Boys begin to develop height around the time of the appearance of secondary sexual characteristics, and their height increases rapidly around the age of 16-20 during puberty, and then usually stops developing around the age of 22. The development of height is related to many factors, such as genetics and the level of thyroid hormones, sex hormones and growth hormones in the body. If hormone levels are unstable, combined with the appearance of diseases, height development can be seriously affected and may even lead to cretinism and dwarfism. Genetic factors also account for a large part of the cause, with family members having a more consistent height. In addition, the nutritional intake and the amount of exercise in daily life can also affect the height of children. It is recommended that boys should exercise more and eat more protein-rich foods, which are more beneficial to height development.
