So the effect of treating nail fungus disease with Nail Defender alone is not good, and even delay the condition.
Onychomycosis is a common dermatologic disease caused by dermatophytes, yeasts and non-dermatophytic molds that invade the nail plate and/or nail bed. The condition is primarily treated by oral antifungal medications such as itraconazole and terbinafine, and topical antifungal medications such as amorolfine application.
Nail Guard is not a drug, its main ingredients are acrylic resin, peptide, glycerin, purified water, etc. It does not contain the ingredients of antifungal drugs and has no role in treating nail fungus disease. It is a medical liquid dressing, which can be used as a topical adjunctive treatment for nail fungus disease when oozing and other conditions occur.
