Onychomycosis is a common dermatologic disease caused by dermatophytes, yeasts and non-dermatophytic molds that invade the nail plate and/or nail bed. Nail fungus can not be cured by the use of Nail Guard alone, local application will even appear redness, swelling, itching and other skin irritation symptoms, serious cases may appear contact dermatitis, local secondary bacterial infection, thus delaying the condition, and even worsening the symptoms of onychomycosis.
