Cyclosporine eye drops for dry eye?

Cyclosporine eye drops can be used for the treatment of moderate to severe dry eye accompanied by ocular inflammatory reactions, and is not recommended for mild dry eye caused by overstrain and other causes. Cyclosporine eye drops are immunosuppressive eye drops, which can reduce inflammation of the ocular surface and lacrimal gland, improve tear secretion, and thus relieve dry eye. It is suitable for moderate to severe dry eye accompanied by ocular inflammatory reaction. For mild dry eye caused by excessive eye use and other causes, cyclosporine eye drops are not recommended. Artificial tears, such as sodium vitrate eye drops and polyethylene glycol eye drops, can be used under doctor’s guidance to relieve dry eyes and other discomforts. It is recommended that dry eye patients use medication under the guidance of a doctor, do not use medication on your own, so as not to cause adverse consequences.
