What to do with pus from acne on face

If a pimple on the face is accompanied by pus, if the rash is solitary, it is more likely to be a boil, which is caused by bacterial infection, mostly due to staphylococcal infection. If the rash is large, it is recommended to go to a regular hospital for surgical treatment and disinfection of the wound. If the rash is small, apply topical iodophor solution to clean the wound and then apply 0.5% neomycin ointment, mupirocin ointment or fusidic acid cream for treatment. If the rash with pustules on the face is multiple, it may be acne, which can be treated with oral doxycycline and minocycline.
