What’s with the diarrhea and the sweating?

Diarrhea is the medical term for diarrhea, and Chinese medicine believes that diarrhea and sweating are mostly related to weakness of the spleen qi (weak spleen qi). According to Chinese medicine, the spleen and stomach are responsible for the transportation and putrefaction of water and grains (the initial digestion of food, the formation of celiac disease), and if the spleen and stomach are weak, the transportation and putrefaction of water and grains can be insufficient to trigger the occurrence of diarrhea. According to Chinese medicine theory, qi has the function of fixing (consolidating) fluids, and qi deficiency without fixing sweat leads to excessive sweating. For diarrhea and excessive sweating caused by a weak spleen and qi, medications that strengthen the spleen and qi can be used, such as Si Jun Zi Tang. This formula is mainly used for treating spleen and stomach qi deficiency. During the period of administration, attention should be paid to a light diet and avoiding spicy and stimulating food. For patients with the above symptoms, it is recommended to go to a regular hospital for treatment under the guidance of a professional physician.
