Prevention of spring dermatitis

But at the same time, the pollen and willow flakes in the air mixed with people’s sebum secretion, you should beware of the occurrence of spring dermatitis. Spring dermatitis is most common in women between the ages of 20 and 40 years old. It mainly involves erythema, pinpoint to rice-sized papules, blisters, oozing fluid, crusting and flaking on the skin of exposed areas such as the face and back of the hands, or moss-like changes. Some women show an increase in freckles or aggravation of brown spots. Some children and young people may have patches of whitish or reddish discoloration on their faces, with fine scales adhering to the surface, sometimes with itchy symptoms. Because this skin disease often occurs in the spring when peach blossoms are open, it is commonly referred to as “peach fungus”. Also because the lesion performance is fine flaking so also called “simple furfuraceous rash”. This discoloration is not related to roundworm. Although it is called “ringworm”, it is actually a different thing from the medical term ringworm, which is a superficial fungal disease of the skin. Why does spring dermatitis occur? Because spring is the time when people’s skin metabolism is active and secretions from sebaceous glands and sweat glands increase, they are prone to allergic reactions when exposed to various allergens. Spring is a good time for pollen, bacteria, viruses and other allergens to multiply and spread, and these things flutter with the wind and fall on people who go out for a walk, which can easily cause allergic dermatitis and rashes; the UV content of the sun is the lowest in winter, but the UV content rises suddenly when spring comes, and people have difficulty adapting to it. Once exposed to strong UV radiation, it can cause skin damage and dermatitis. At the same time, spring is the peak season to go out and travel, if you do not pay attention to sun protection, will aggravate or induce dermatitis. It has been determined that about 30% of the population is allergic to UV rays, of which the human body has the highest sensitivity to UV rays in spring; people who work indoors are more sensitive to UV rays than those who work outdoors; young people are more sensitive than young children and the elderly. Therefore, spring dermatitis is more likely to occur in young adults and indoor workers. In addition, the bite of insects on various household pets and the eating of seafood by some allergic people can cause an allergic reaction and lead to dermatitis; poor digestion and insufficient vitamin intake can also trigger “peach fungus”. If you are suffering from spring dermatitis, the less severe cases do not require treatment and will heal on their own in a few days. If the condition is severe, you can take antihistamine and anti-allergy drugs. In the meantime, local dermatitis can be treated with soft hormone creams or ointments such as calcium phosphatase inhibitors. You can take vitamin B complex tablets internally and apply 5% sulfur ointment externally. Chinese medicine believes that this disease is due to the quality is not strong, poor tolerance, is in contact with some “touch poison” and make the poisonous evil invade the skin, mucous membrane, the Department and heat, evil heat and qi and blood fight and the onset, good line several changes. This is “wind poison”, because the poisonous evil with wind in the muscle surface also. “Touch toxins” such as lacquer, drugs, dyes, plastic products, asphalt, animal hair, plant stems, leaves, pollen, etc. It should be emphasized that the so-called “touch poison” is relative, depending on the physical factors.
