The atrial fluid is produced by the ciliary bulge of the ciliary body and circulates into the bloodstream through the following three pathways: 1. The trabecular meshwork channel, which is the most important channel for atrial fluid outflow, accounting for 70% of the atrial fluid circulation. If the trabecular meshwork channel is obstructed or blocked, the atrial aqueous circulation can be blocked, causing an increase in intraocular pressure and leading to glaucoma. 2. The uveoscleral channel, which is also a very important atrial aqueous outflow channel, can be blocked, causing an increase in intraocular pressure. 3. The iris crypt channel, which absorbs atrial aqueous into the blood through the crypt of the iris. This is a very important channel for the outflow of atrial fluid.
