Rectal cancer may cause dry stools, but not in all patients. Due to different locations of tumor invasion and degree of progression, there may be differences in the symptoms of rectal cancer in terms of stool. Some patients may have dry stool due to obstruction of part of intestinal tubes, which prevents stools from being discharged from the body smoothly; some patients may have symptoms such as acute and severe bowel movements, blood or mucus in stools, and incomplete evacuation of stools as the tumor stimulates the rectum and breaks down. Rectal cancer is a malignant tumor that occurs between the junction of rectosigmoid colon and dentate line. This disease not only causes changes in bowel movement, but also metastasizes to liver, lung, brain, bone and other parts of the body, and with the progression of the disease, the lethality rate will gradually increase. In order to reduce the mortality rate and prolong the survival time, patients should follow the doctor’s advice, early diagnosis and early treatment.
