How to use a defibrillator

When using a defibrillator, it is necessary to determine the type of arrhythmia, remove the electrode plates, apply conductive paste, choose the appropriate defibrillation method and energy, and press on the defibrillation site to perform electrical defibrillation.
1. Before using a defibrillator, the type of arrhythmia of the patient should first be identified, which is mostly used for the treatment of tachyarrhythmias, such as ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and rapid atrial fibrillation.
2. Remove the electrode plates, apply conductive paste, start the defibrillator switch, select the appropriate defibrillation mode, select asynchronous for ventricular fibrillation, synchronous for ventricular tachycardia, atrial fibrillation, etc. Select the appropriate energy according to the type of arrhythmia, and then start charging.
3. After the electricity is full, the defibrillation electrodes are placed on the tip and the bottom of the heart, and the type of arrhythmia is determined again before defibrillation, and the electrodes are pressed to defibrillate after clarification, and the electrocardiogram should be observed after defibrillation to understand the effect of defibrillation.
Electric defibrillation is a clinical rescue treatment, and should be operated by specialized physicians.
