Parasites may enter the brain, that is, brain parasitosis, due to the parasite’s body, eggs or larvae invade the tissues of the brain, and later cause corresponding symptoms, which can lead to the patient to develop a series of immunopathological reactions. Clinically, the patient may present with acute meningoencephalitis or seizures, increased intracranial pressure, cerebral edema, etc. The symptoms that appear after the brain is infected with parasites depend mainly on the location, extent, number of worms, and the degree of obstruction to the cerebrospinal fluid circulation. Early diagnosis must be made in treatment to control the patient’s condition, and the patient can be treated by using antiparasitic drugs, which should be carried out according to the parasite species. Clinically, if it is cysticercosis in pigs, patients should be given deworming treatment.
