Is the blood return from the indwelling needle normal

It is normal to have bleeding inside the indwelling needle if it is caused by raising the arm higher during the infusion process. If the arm is lowered or the infusion strip is placed higher, the blood will flow into the patient’s blood vessels on its own. If it is after the infusion is finished, the indwelling needle has been closed and there is blood back inside the needle, it is abnormal because the blood may clot inside the indwelling needle to form a thrombus, and if necessary, the indwelling needle can be removed and the eye of the needle pressed for a while. If you need intravenous infusion again the next day, you can change your hand for a new vessel and re-inject the needle, depending on the infusion, you can play a disposable needle, or you can re-inject an indwelling needle.
