Symptoms of the tongue in patients with syphilis

In advanced syphilis, that is, the third stage of syphilis, some syphilitic trephines can also occur in the oral cavity. It is manifested as a localized painless nodule, and then gradually the central softening, ulceration, the appearance of viscous gum-like secretion, so that after the discharge of secretion, the localization will form atrophic scars. This damage to the oral cavity can cause difficulty in eating.
