Efficacy and effects of pores

Pores are used to calm the liver, calm alarm, eliminate food, reduce phlegm and lower qi, and for treating stubborn phlegm, coughing and shortness of breath, epilepsy, irritability and chest tightness, and convulsions (a pediatric disease characterized by dizziness, apoplexy, and convulsions). Pores is a mineral-based Chinese medicine with a flat nature, salty and sweet taste, and belongs to the lung, heart and liver meridians. It has the effect of reducing phlegm and lowering qi, calming the liver and suppressing convulsions. It is used in the treatment of obstinate phlegm, coughing and asthma, epilepsy, irritability, chest tightness and convulsions. This product should be decocted in a cloth bag. Adverse effects and contraindications are not clear at present, note that this product is heavy and violent, and should not be used by those who are not suffering from internal phlegm-heat stagnation, and is contraindicated for those with a weak spleen and stomach as well as pregnant women. When used with other medicines, Pores may cause drug-drug interactions. If there is a need to use pores and stones, it should be applied under the guidance of a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner, and should not be taken on its own to avoid adverse consequences.
