The numbness and swelling of hands may be related to cerebrovascular disease, cervical spondylosis and peripheral nerve disease.
1. Cerebrovascular disease: for example, insufficient blood supply to the brain can cause cerebral ischemia and hypoxia, resulting in impaired local nerve function, resulting in numbness and swelling of the hands, headache and dizziness, and even cause loss of limb muscle strength.
2. Cervical spondylosis: It can lead to blood supply shortage due to pressure on blood vessels in the neck, and also lead to neuralgia due to compression of nerves, inducing headache, dizziness, numbness of hands and abnormal sensation of limbs.
3. Peripheral neuropathy: peripheral nerve injury, such as ulnar nerve and median nerve injury, will cause the corresponding area of the nerve finger numbness, swelling and muscle weakness; diabetic patients with poor glycemic control can easily induce diabetic peripheral neuropathy, resulting in numbness and swelling of the hands.
It is recommended that patients go to the regular hospital to receive further examination, according to the results of the examination for targeted treatment.
