What to do if your baby has prickly heat all over his face

Infants and young children usually rarely have prickly heat all over their faces. Small pimples all over the baby’s face may be caused by infantile eczema. The treatment of eczema may include general treatment, topical medication, systemic medication, and so on.
1, general treatment: avoid hot water scalding, keep the water temperature at 32-37 ℃, bath time 5-10 minutes. Apply mild moisturizing emollients externally in sufficient quantity for many times. Avoid contact with sensitizing substances.
2. Topical drugs: topical glucocorticosteroids can be chosen for eczema, commonly used ones are Denadyl and Hydrocortisone Butyrate; mild to moderate ones can be used as topical Calcium-Modulated Phosphatase Inhibitors, commonly used ones are Pimecrolimus, Tacrolimus and so on.
3. Systemic drugs: eczema babies often itch, you can choose oral antihistamine drugs to stop itching, to block the “itching-scratching-itching” cycle, commonly used in loratadine, levocetirizine hydrochloride, and so on.
The above drugs should be used in accordance with the doctor’s instructions, and it is recommended that patients with the above symptoms go to the hospital in time and follow the doctor’s instructions for medication to avoid delays.
