What is the fetal position of lsa

The position of the baby in the uterus is cephalic, breech and transverse. The head position is the most common, and the LSA position means that the baby’s position inside the uterus is breech, that is, the fetal position is not corrected; the breech position before 28 weeks still has a chance to be corrected; after 28 weeks, the fetal position has been relatively fixed, and it is unlikely to be turned again. However, if the fetus is not circumflexed and the amniotic fluid volume is still okay, the fetal position can be corrected at 28-30 weeks by performing external inversion and doing exercises. If the fetal position is still not corrected until 39 weeks of full term, a cesarean section is recommended. Breech position vaginal delivery has the risk of difficult emergence, fetal distress and asphyxia, and birth injury, and requires cautious delivery.
